Brick-doodle baseplates mounted to wall and ceiling
Originally reported on Total Geekdom and repeated on the Makezine Blog, an AFOL has created a build area on his(?) wall and ceiling by permanently mounting 26 blue baseplates. My reaction: He must be very tall, and even so, those are awkward angles to be placing bricks. Also, if he finds this to be a useful solution to his brick-doodling, it says something about his preferred brick-genres -- these are unsuitable for free-standing models, e.g., anything with wheels.
Re: Brick-doodle baseplates mounted to wall and ceiling
I don't see any problems with placing bricks on any of those surfaces...
It all looks good to me!

This is a great idea for expanding your building space. I might just try this myself.

I would be fine with wall plates, but for some odd reason, things that high just don't seem to interst me.
