In true medieval fashion, "You have my trains!"

So definitely, let's do it.

What is the name of the museum, and does anyone have a link to its website if there is one?

The Museum is the America on Wheels Transportation Museum in Allentown PA.

Since Joel is our Allentown resident he has volunteered to talk with them about a possible display. Joel and I may take a trip there and check it out this Saturday if any one is interested.

Thanks. For some reason, I was under the impression that it would be a railroad museum, but it's nice to see that it's a car museum. You can let them know that we have a guy who interned with the AACA Museum. Wink

I would really like to help with this, but here is why I cannot give a definite answer yet. I have been looking into getting certified to teach English as a foreign language to teach overseas. There is one program in particular that I'm most interested in that would have me working in China for 1 year, but that's if I were to get accepted. So it would be nearly impossible for me to be of much help to you with a display like this. However, I was recently informed of a job opening and have an interview next week, so if I would land this job, I would not be going with my original plans. Then I'd be free to help with this.

That being said, depending on how things work out, I am interested in helping to make up a bang-up display. When I was certain that I would be overseas for a long time, I inquired with the AACA Museum about setting up a small layout of my stuff while I'd be gone, but they don't have the space to properly accommodate it. So it would be nice to do something like this. Of course, I am still interested in doing some sort of glass case display for the AACA Museum, and they would welcome such a display. However, I do not think it would be a good idea to do it during the holiday months because it would take away from the train layout. Something could be done after we take the layout down if anyone is interested.

Edit:
Oh yes, and I forgot, I'm volunteering at the AACA Museum as a gallery guide tomorrow, so I wouldn't be able to head on out there, but I would look forward to your pictures. I think they have a train layout there right now, don't they?
