I have not started laying any brick for this one yet. But I did sit down yesterday to sketch out some of my ideas for it. You can find the plan I drew up on my Flickr Page showing all most of the features I plan to work in.

I think one of the hardest parts is going to be figuring out how to do the tunnel openings. I want to try and replicate the cut stone style of Howard Tunnel. The arch will be particularly tricky. If any one has any good suggestions for this I'm open to them.

These arches could be useful. The second one might work best, as you could space two of them apart to get that wide look of the tunnel. Then you could slip 1x1 or 1x2 bricks under the arches (they will fit, and I'm sure you've seen this many times before. Then you could use 1x1 headlight bricks with 1x1 tile SNOTed running down the inner walls. Make sense?

As for the building on the mountain, how about the Harry Packer Mansion in Jim Thorpe, PA? Laughing

Slipping plates or bricks under an arch micht work well. You also might be able to use 1x1s with stud on side with 1x2 tiles on their faces to get a similar effect.
