What DO people do with non-Lego they get that are mixed in with parts you buy, like from garage sales?

I keep old TYCO bricks and give the rest to friends of the family. The old TYCO works very well with LEGO and is very useful as infra structure.

I had one Tyco set as a kid. For a clone brick they were pretty good.

Sometimes I go out of my way to buy non-Lego. For example, I picked up a bunch of counterfeit stuff out of curiosity. The company also had some military sets featuring the People's Liberation Army from China. I keep them as an oddity. And the Oxford sets from South Korea are top notch, just as high in quality as Lego in my opinion. And they have some really cools designs. Aside from Ninjas, where else can you get sets featuring medieval Asian stuff?
Anything else I just pitch or give away if it isn't too dirty.
