Brick Friday
Hey everyone. Joe Miserendino aka JoeRocco aka Unhalfbricking aka the Micropolis guy has received an invite to Brick Friday which will be on Saturday the 17th from 9-10am. He has extended his +1 to me, but I will be at work. He said if anyone from PennLUG needs an invite, they can meet him there. I also told him about KBE and he would be very interested in displaying his Micro MOCs if you grant him permission to. He is from PA and I'd hate to exclude his work. Please post here with any thoughts and I will relay the information to him.

Re: Brick Friday
Hi,
I received an invitation, too.
Thus I will be late for the AOW setup.

Re: Brick Friday
No invite for me. I guess they don't count money spent on LUG Bulk, parts from Jim and Bricklink when they decide on who to send invites to.
I couldn't go any way as AoW will be priority.

Re: Brick Friday
we had some interest from a Steel City LUG member to see if someone from PennLUG would get an order from the pab and bring it out for kidsfest. Any takers?
Re: Brick Friday
The store is currently closed for emergency remodeling. I'm sure one of us will pick something up for you when it opens up. What parts do you need?

Let me first give you an update on our store. We have been closed for some maintenance work at the store and have not been able to receive phone calls. So if you have tried to contact us to RSVP for this Saturday’s VIP Event, we sincerely apologize!
We are still finishing up our work at the store and we will not be open on Saturday. We have the following two options for you.
Option #1, You are welcome to go to the LEGO Store at the Christiana Mall in Delaware on Saturday and participate as outlined in the invitation.
We certainly understand this could be difficult or impossible, so we would offer the following as
Option #2, Come into the LEGO Store at the King of Prussia Mall anytime on Monday or Tuesday of next week during normal business hours and take advantage of the offers outlined in the invitation.
We want to make this event as enjoyable as possible so for planning purposes please let us know which option you select. Please send your email response right away to Tracie.Spickerman@LEGO.com, the store manager at the King of Prussia LEGO Store. If you decide on Option #1, we will be sure to alert the staff at the Christiana store of your attendance, and you can be sure that they will welcome you with open arms.
Again, thank for your loyalty throughout the past several years and your continued enthusiasm for LEGO products, we look forward to seeing you soon!

I am the Steel City LUG member Josh mentioned. I could use a case of 1x4 white bricks and about 100 clear 1x4x3 panels ... but it sounds like the store is going through a rough spot right now, and I am not sure what they have on the wall. (I'll be ordering the clear panels from S@H.) Will someone be updating the info for the King of Prussia LEGO store on the ipab page on brickbuildr dot com anytime soon? Most of the info is a year old.
thanks,
Greg

The selection on our PaB wall almost never changes. The existing list is probably 90%+ accurate.Greg Schubert wrote:sixf00t4 wrote:we had some interest from a Steel City LUG member to see if someone from PennLUG would get an order from the pab and bring it out for kidsfest.

Re: Brick Friday
I'll give it an update when we have a meeting there next week. But generally, if I have a few hundred of an item in new condition in my store, that means KoP has/had it on the wall.

Re: Brick Friday
I stopped by the store today to use my Brick Friday VIP pass. Got 20% off. There was some some newer stuff on the wall: 1x4 red plates, 1x4 blue plates, 1x2 tan slopes, 4x4 tan plates, 4x4 red plates, 1x2 trans-black bricks, 1x2x2 white slopes, barrels, light bley "mailboxes" with white fronts. The ticket also got me a free small PAB cup, some sort of collapsable reusable Lego bag and I spent enough to get the small holiday set.

Re: Brick Friday
No 1x4 white bricks on the wall or in the back. Checked tonight when we did the VIP thing.

Wow, thanks for checking. I think that white 1x8's are much more available so I am going to use a different strategy.
