Anyone watch the show Community? Everyone in my house is obsessed with it right now. We're a little behind, and just watched the first few episodes of season 3 (from 2011) last night. One of them had this scene...

Watch? Not regularly, but an episode was nominated for the 2012 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form) -- "Remedial Chaos Theory," where the timeline splits six ways depending on who gets the pizza. I voted for that one (it wasn't available through Comcast's OnDemand, so I watched what was), because of a friend's blog-review and because the dominance of Doctor Who for the past several years has grown tiresome and absurd. Very amusing, and a different flavor of nerd-humor than Big Bang Theory (which resorts to tired romcom patterns too often, IMHO).

(There are five slots per Hugo category, and from 2007-2012 episodes of Who or Torchwood have filled two or three of them. Don't SF/F fans watch anything else on TV? This is what happens when you get no more than 900 nominating ballots each year. Hmm. Maybe I can get Philcon 2012 (November 9-11) to run a "balance of power: join forces to dethrone Who" panel in the Media track. Who's with me on NinjaGo: Masters of Spinjitzu or Green Lantern? )
