Extra April Meeting

Hello everyone. I think the extra meeting in March went rather well. I would like to do another one in April. With the regular meeting happening on the 14th(?), I think we should pick another day rather than the 2nd Wednesday of April for our meeting. I was thinking the 18, 19, or 20th. The 20th is a Friday (mall rats) and the LEGO store may be more crowded on that day. Same time & place, 7pm until... at the KoP food court near JCPenney. The agenda will be the same (a brief review of April's meeting and more talk about future layouts and showing off MOCs) and since this will be the last extra meeting before BrickMagic, this would be a good time for MOCs to get dropped off unless you're going to attend May's meeting. So let's pick a day and RSVP. See you at the April meeting.

The 18th or 19th would work better I think because your right with the 20th a Friday the mall kids will be out in droves. I think we'd have a better time on the 18th or 19th. Less traffic those days as well likely.

So my vote is 18th or 19th.

Let's just make it Wednesday the 18th. I know it's close to the main meeting on the 14th, but it will still give a lot of people a chance to make a meeting. Please RSVP so we know that there will be at least a few of us showing up.

Thanks they will be much welcomed. I think you can see what the spacers of the club are trying to do now. Also that is one advantage of being a member of a club such as ours, we tend to pull our resources together and always helping each other out with parts.

I have the 2 charms you didn't get last time. They did not have the 2x4 blue brick, but they often restock. I grabbed a business card. The girl also said she would be willing to ship it once they came in. The Easter bunnies are not on sale yet, so I did not get any. If you have time on Sat or Sun I could catch up with you and swap the charms and my BL orders out.

I think I grabbed up all the 4x6 green plates, I will put one aside for you and get it to you with the charms. The rest of the parts I think Chris B. and Mark got.

Yup. If I still had the green plates, I could make several of those sets. All those parts were in there.

Great seeing everyone again. Probably won't be at the next actual meeting, but hoping to make the extra meeting.

BTW: Is anyone up for any type of trades? I'll be looking for some things for a castle theme display I'm working on and I could use some elements.

If there is an interest in some of us having these sets, I would gladly supply the green plates. Just let me know before the get used in the wind farm next week.

Yeah, I would love to see more part swaps/sales at our meetings. At the meeting I hosted last summer, I let people pick through some of my bins of extra/unsorted parts and it worked out well. I've got some space and castle pieces I'll probably never use.

Save those space parts, I know Nate and I will probably pick through them for the display.

I am for doing grab bag parts draws at the meetings too when ever we can. Both meetings actually...

Unfortunately, I only got 3 chocolates from the bags that I got. But I have tons of the white arches, Dk brown telescopes, and clear tall glasses. And I already gave the green plates to Mac for his project.
