LEGO Cuusoo: beta testing

There is a web site now called Lego Cuusoo. Basically you post up your Lego creations and if 10,000 people support your creation it has a chance of becoming a real set. Right now the site is in beta test. If to want to try it out the invitation code is brick journal. So check it out.

Thanks for posting this Joel. This was first tried out in Japan last year. The first set produced was this awesome Japanese Sub.

I was wondering who would be the first PennLUG member to submit a project. Way to go. I want to start a project but have not decided what I want to do yet.

I'm going to submit the wind farm just for sh*ts and giggles, but definitely submitting Evie's gingerbread house.

Well yeah, that would be an obvious choice. lol!

I'd want to do one that is feasible as a set though. A lot of my builds are little part intensive and a bit fragile. Not the qualities LEGO normally looks for in a set.

And it has to be a steam engine. Wink

Evie's gingerbread house really needs to be submitted. It's such a big hit with every one who sees it.

Yeah, that would be a good holiday Lego Direct set.

As for me, I put the car up because I felt it was the single best thing I had to offer. I wanted to turn it into a custom kit one day, so it would be cool to see it become a set. I won't hold my breath though. Laughing

It's also one of your best known MOCs and one that gets a lot of attention at shows. I'd love to see it as a set. Maybe LEGO could do a whole series of classic cars.
