Brickworld 2011
Registration is now open for Brickworld 2011 in Chicago June 15th to 19th.

If you have yet to experience the wonder that is Brickworld it's certainly an amazing experience. It's one of the largest AFOL events in North America and the caliber of the Builders and the MOCs they bring is unrivaled. Here are some photos from previous events.

If you want to register the earlier the better as they are caping full registration at 650 this year.
For those of you planing to go it's time to start planing. Specifically we need to decide if want to do some type of train layout this year weather it be on our own or joining with another club. The deadline to declare club layout participation is February 28, 2011 (that's a month away). By that time they need to know our space requirements and # train transformers and other electrical devices we may be running (transformers, AC lights, battery chargers).
So lets here it. Who is committed to going and who is willing to participate in a train layout?

Re: Brickworld 2011
It's been a bit late in coming due to some negotiations over space in Brickworld's crowded display rooms but here is the proposed PennLUG Train layout. If any one sees any thing that needs adjustment let me know.

I'm hoping it will not be to bad. The yard goes down really quick and the new and improved wind farm is also very easy to set up. Most of the other stuff shouldn't be bad either. As long as we can get all the stuff in and set up the tables with out to much hassle we should be fine.

Yeah, sounds like we're going to have to stake out our space and defend it.

Better bring the nerf guns then...
Re: Brickworld 2011
If someone at BrickWorld is stopping by the Lego Store and making some big purchases, could you pick me up a Pet Shop at 30% off. I can pay with PayPal now, or cash at the next meeting. Only pick it up if you can get the 30% off (need to spend $200+, I think).
Thanks!
Thanks!
