I signed up too. I checked the middle spot "some online gaming" since I have played Maple Story. I am hoping they will want both experienced and inexperienced online gamers. I sure hope several of us get picked.

I myself am still not sold on the idea, nor am I really interested in a LEGO MMO. Most of my experience comes from Phantasy Star Online for the Dreamcast back in the day, as well as a little WOW. While there is no doubt that AFOLs will flock to this, one cannot escape the fact that LEGO's main target audience is children. And while some of them may be pretty well-behaved, I would expect a lot of stupid crap. If you make something that looks great in the game, expect to be pummeled with the inevitable, "Can I have building instructions?" or "Give me one" over and over again. And when you say no, expect to be called a wide array of ingenious names, such as "poopy head." Then they go to their friends and tell them how "mean" you are. The curiosity of these friends is piqued to the point where they track you down and the vicious cycle continues.

Oh yes, it's going to happen.

Well I'd hope they have different types of server, vs one large server.

so they could have Adults only Server or Role Playing Only - which should help limit those sort of things. I've played WoW, Everquest, DAoC, and few other less main stream MMO's and almost all had specialized servers etc. I'd be shocked if LEGO Universe didn't have some of the similar features. While it won't get rid of the whining entirely; it should cut it down.

Well, that makes sense. I hope that it would have separate servers for adults.

When it comes out, someone needs to create the Pennlug Institute, that's for sure.
