The quiet before the Dawn
Hi All,
If anyone in the club will be in the DC area this weekend, you should visit a little show called BrickFair. It is in Chantilly Virginia, which is West of Vienna. I do not know what you can expect, But, I would think you might have some fun.

ps: GET DOWN HERE NOW !! I can not wait to get this thing started.

Brickfair follow up
I just wanted to say Thank you for everyone's help with set up and tear down, load out and load in. It is much appreciated!
And I too had a good time even being a little sick.

Has anyone seen Matt?
Todd Webb says he is missing about two boxes of floor mats. I saw our pile of mats get loaded and know we did not have that many. But could you, Cale, take a look and ease my mind that we have none of BrickFair's. No rush, simply check when you have a second.
To keep this missive on topic, so that I am not (blah, blah, blah ...) I had a blast at this year's BF. It was cool to have all kinds of people come up to me and continue conversations from years past. I got to meet lots of new people. I consider myself a shy introvert, so I am happy to create rewarding relationships with AFOLs outside our club.
As concerns our club, we are establishing ourselves as The LUG everyone wants to be like or join. A countless number of other LUGgers told me that they look to us for inspiration. This included the look of our layouts, the way we work so well together to get things installed and the fact that PennLUG has a presence in so many themes. We are a great group and I hope we can continue to be as awesome in the future.

I am sure that we do not have any extra floor mats. I helped with loading and unloading all of the boxes in the trailer.

I checked yesterday and sent Tony a message. The only mats we have are ours.

Re: The quiet before the Dawn
I want to extend a thank you to the group for allowing me to tag along and hang out with so many awesome people. Brickfair 2012 was my first Lego Con and I very much look forward to many more.
