Wow, Disney put out some real cash for LucasFilms 'Star Wars' and others. I guess LEGO license is still secure since LEGO also has license with Disney... good thing!

I wonder if this changes the rules on figures without sets? Like the Dark Bucket issue on Cuusoo... Just wondering.

Now that Disney plans to put out movies every 2-3 years, LEGO will hold on to that license for new products. I doubt we will ever see a serious original space theme again.

Nope, if you want figures, you'll have to buy them sets. Hasbro has the action figure license. That's why magnets are glued.

One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the Mouse will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new rodent overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a talented train builder, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their theme parks.

A lot of fans are worried that Disney will wreck Star Wars. I'm not worried about Disney screwing up Star Wars. Lucas has been doing that himself for several years now. I'm worried about Lucas screwing up Disney. I don't need to see the new 3D edition of Aristocats with Jar Jar digitally added. White Cat In all seriousness though I feel that as long as Lucas does what he says and steps aside to let other more competent people take a crack at Star Wars and Disney can keep them selves from meddling too much this could actually be a good thing.
