LEGO Author visit local library - all invited
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that David Robertson, author of the recently released Brick by Brick: How LEGO Rewrote the Rules of Innovation and Conquered the Global Toy Industy will be speaking at the local library in Lafayette Hill on Thursday December 12 at 6:30pm. It's free, but they'd like attendees to register to make sure they have room for everyone. Copies of his book will also be for sale. To register, you can go to this link: http://www.eventkeeper.com/code/popevent.cfm?curOrg=JEANES&curApp=events&eID=3147848&thisDate=NO_DATE or go through their website at www.jeaneslibrary.org to their calendar of events. Please feel free to share with anyone who may be interested in hearing him speak. I hear he's a pretty good speaker and a nice guy.

Hey, I met you.
Went to this it was a bit dismal but the contents of the book seen very interesting from a business standpoint.
Met some perspective members. Met Bud, who should totally come to the Jan. Meeting! and that's about it, not a kid friendly event.

Yea, bit interesting. Good speaker and engaging. Guy had a pretty good grasp of the Lego Group as a whole. Wasn't kid friendly as Kirsten says, but I really think the kids handled it extremely well for as bored as they had to be. Nice to finally meet another PennLug member. I look forward to being a more active member. Now I have to start making some meetings. ;(
